KVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS
(Inception to present)
Updated by the Director of Research, Leon Krier, PhD
KVP and its director, Dr. Arenberg, have made several notable new and recent groundbreaking contributions to the art history world focused on Vincent. The recent non-fiction art history Killing Vincent Trilogy focused on Vincent and Marguerite, shedding new light on their love affair and how their blossoming “finally love” contributed to his mysterious death. You can readily review all of these aspects on the recently updated www.KillingVincent.com and further appreciate the scope of the Killing Vincent Project, its contributions, and bibliography over these few years.
The KVP Team is actively participating in this endeavor and has published several books and peer reviewed articles about Vincent (a third book to complete the Killing Vincent Trilogy will be published by the end of 2023). In addition, the chief researcher for KVP is preparing his own book on understanding and engaging Vincent as a patient in a 21st century setting.
The focus of these books and articles is to elaborate and clarify misunderstood aspects of Vincent’s life, loves, and other medical issues. His mysterious death attributed incorrectly to a suicide is still an ongoing and primary focus of our team and is requiring further efforts at clarification from the art history community.
A miniseries pilot script and a bible for an 8-episode miniseries as well as a sizzle for a documentary are now completed and available for pre-production.
